This Is How An Indian Replied To NewYork Times

Before and after the success of India’s Mangalyaan (Mars Orbit Mission) project, western media was very irritated and they were regularly showing it through their media. The recent attack was by New York Times, a cartoon which they were published in their newspaper couple of day back.

What New York Times Did?

Cartoon Published By New-York Times

After the success of India’s MOM project, The New York Times had published the above cartoon to insult India.  New York Times says that the cartoon shows that India also become the part of Elite Space club and no longer the monopoly of rich western countries. But Indian reader couldn't agree with the statement and they decided to protest. Indian citizens reacted very badly and the Indian readers flooded New York Time’s Facebook page with protesting comments. Indian readers commented in each and every post which New York Times had published in their official Facebook page and most of the comments were in the native language. Also many readers had mailed and complained New York Times regarding the cartoon which they had published. Couple of days back New York Times explained and apologised for what they did.

Apology Message From New-York Times

Apology Message from New-York Times

Couple of days after publishing the cartoon and continuous protest from Indian readers, New York Times decided to apologise for what they did and posted an apology message to all Indian readers in their official Facebook page. In the apology message New York Times stated that the cartoon and cartoonist never intended to insult India and India's Mangalyaan project. They also explained that the cartoon intended to show that the space exploration is no longer the exclusive domain of rich western countries.

A Real Reply To New York Times

Indian readers were not satisfied with the apology and one citizen decided to give a reply in the same coin. One cartoonist form Kerala, India had drawn a cartoon so that New York Times should get a proper reply. He uploaded the cartoon in social-media and it had got good attention in social-media. Many people had shared this cartoon in social media and I guess New York Times might have seen the cartoon.

Reply by an Indian

He also comments like this- “We also know to draw cartoons and how to send rocket. If we are valueless and poor, why are you recruiting Indians to your reputed organisations?? Some may the fell in this trap but all won’t accept it. We are useless but you need our Brain”

Conclusion

May be New York Times didn't intend to insult a great country or they might be did it purposefully to insult India and Mangalyaan project. But the people from India protested and New York Times had to apologise for what they did. After the apology message appeared in the Official page, many people had shared it in social media to spread the news and stopped protesting. I hope in the future, none of the media or person won’t insult any other country or their projects. Why because sometimes things won't work according to their plan.

A Straight Reply To NewYork Times

Cartoon which published in New York Times recently

This cartoon had got hell lot of criticism from global media and Indians reacted very badly because the New York Times just showed the racial discrimination through this cartoon. Citizens from India flooded NewYork Time’s Each and every post last couple of days and recently they apologised for this cartoon.
Apology message which New York Times posted in their page

I guess the western world is so much irritated because of the success of India’s Mars Orbit Mission (MOM). They are keeping on trying to insult India and India’s MOM through their dirty cartoons. But whatever the western world do India is succeed in sending their craft to Mars and India is the first country who succeed to send their craft to Mars successfully in the first attempt itself.
